Allen was in the same flight crew as my own Grandfather during the Second World War. Incredibly, myself and one of his Granddaughters managed to make contact via social media, and it was such a joy and absolute pleasure to have stories from Allen relayed to me over the last year or so. It meant so much to have that connection again to my own Grandfather, and wonderful how two families can be linked together all those years later. Thank you so much for those precious moments, we shall never forget what you did. To the skies Sir.
